Transistion

So, welcome to my blog . . .

Yes, it's true, after more than seven year's at the helm of the Courier's editorial department, I am moving on to greener pastures.

Check back often because I will still be keeping an eye on local politics and providing you with behind the scenes reports of our local government in action.

This could be a lot more fun than my public access show, we'll see.

It is a relief to know you are still here. My life in Biddeford first began when I had all of my stuff moved into my new apartment on Granite Street and turned on Biddeford Public Access for the first time in Sept. 2001. Randy and Brian truly was must see TV. I loved the uncensored, no sugar coating assesments delivered each week. When Randy called some guy(who deserved it) a "blow-hard" on the air, I knew I had found a haven for real opinions. You could call into the show and say as you wished, and you would get feed back for certain!! By the time Randy verbally jabbed Rose Sheltra one night in Oct. 2001 in a phone confrontation(she deserved it!)I was hooked. I called in when Randy took a night off for something and Jim Grattello was sitting in with Brian one night, and I recall rubbing "Mr." Grattello the wrong way!! I even got a diet tip from Randy. In Dec. 2001, Randy was shedding some pounds, and he remarked to Brian, "It's amazing, but if you just cut out the fries, it's amazing how you lose weight. The burgers are'nt the problem, it's the fries!" The chemistry between Randy and Brian was really something special. I was sorry to see it end. I can atleast hope for a comeback someday. I'm sure it will happen. Someday.
